... i was going to drive to new hampshire today, but adrien and sara had the idea that it would be best for me to beat the storm by leaving early ... both of 'em, way smart girls ... on monday night the roads were clear and dry all the way, this morning i awoke to spring's rather ironic arrival ... such, of course, is best appreciated by either spending a day hurtling down the ice covered slopes of a steep mountain, or, in my case, making an effort to emulate that other favorite activity of the region's residents, steaming a lobster 'til it's bright red all over ...
