... as i said, some of the buttons are awkwardly placed ... it isn't that there are "perfect" locations for all of a camera's controls, of course, it's just that if as they came out with new camera models they left the buttons in the same locations photographers would have already trained their fingers to know where to go to change settings ... i glued shut the little rubber access panel that kept popping open under my little finger, so that's no longer an issue ... .nef raw file buffer is terrible compared to my "ancient" d200, but for sports and action pictures the .jpeg files are so good i'll be able to use that file format for high-speed sequential shooting ... the .jpeg buffer will easily handle 20-30 pictures at 6 frames/second ...
