SOCIAL DISTANCING WANDERABOUTING

... before this time of social distancing, little tessa and mom at "mac's bowlaway duck pin lanes" in west warwick, rhode island ... "duck pins," you ask, with a rather quizzical look ... well, the best way to describe duck pin bowling is to quote wikipedia:

The USBC reported that there were 55,266 certified 300 games in ten-pin bowling in the 2013-14 season alone, but there has never been a certified 300 game in duckpin bowling.

... duckpin bowling is great fun, and, yes, tessa beat me ...

... she learns ...

... there should be a monument to the person who invented the swingset ...

... practicing for the olympics, perhaps ...

... i made a little wanderabout yesterday ... my sony a7ii, sent out to be repaired a couple of weeks ago, is now lost in corona virus limbo, so i shared the outing with my  motorola cell phone ... not my favorite camera, for sure, but, as they say, any port in a storm  ... one thing that is way cool about the motorola, i must admit, is that i can do all the editing right on the phone using "snapseed" ...

... on the two-cent bridge i found a story ... i've no idea whether it is a sad story or a happy story, but i'm glad i took the time to read it ...

... the railroad bridge over the kennebec ...

... i enjoyed the juxtaposition of geometry of the trusses and the roaring of the spring melt cascading over the ticonic falls dam ...

... from this spot, i wonder what benedict arnold would think ...

... i'm betting you're going to wonder at this one ...

... angle, angles, and more angles ...

... me, mask pulled below my chin for the snapshot, social distancing ...

... life is good, isn't it ...
