Tarmac ribbons criss-crossing the landscape, dusty back roads twisting between the cool shadows of ancient pines, and less traveled pathways connecting present to past, all I wander, seeking, seeing, with my keyboard and camera capturing scenes and stories to share with you.

Now in its fifth year, this venue has become an important part of my life, a place where I can express my thoughts and feelings about the things I see and do, hoping the process brings me a bit closer to friends and family who enjoy sharing my sometimes chaotic and often nonlinear observations and ideas. A journal, I suppose, but one with which I find pleasure in thinking others are alongside me on my journey.

WANDERING SARAH & GORDY'S YARD

... liz is tailoring wedding gown and adrien's bridesmaid dress, sarah and gordy are doing chores, i went for a stroll around the house ... nobody to assist me with my nomenclature-impaired disability, so i'll just call 'em as i like ...

... pointy, round, and streaming whiskers ... how odd ...

... clearly an invader from another world ...

... 633 squadron, taking off on a mission ...

... not much formal form, so it makes do with color ...

... i'm sure some ancient civilization crushed the juice out of these leaves to color their fancy robes ...

... the very edge of purple arrogance ...

... of course, without these pretty flowers wouldn't be ...

... tiny "we can't make up our minds" flowers ...

... like we all drew as children ...

... i wonder if they're simply roosting until the night falls ...

... and, it seems, the chickens're getting close to full employment ...

... so cool, a thirty-year old manual-everything lens ... and, icing on the cake, so to speak, it seems i haven't lost my touch using "elements" as an image editing program ...
