WANDERING BETH'S WORLD

... after a scorching ride down to rhode island in what was perhaps the hottest air i've ever driven in on my motorcycle, it was nice to wake up this morning to a nice cool rain shower ... i dressed and took a little wander among my sister-in-law's chlorophyll entourage ...

... "love-in-a-mist," nigella sativa ...

... iris, purple perfected ...

... unlike many flowers, they are comfortable in their beauty, needing neither rigid structure nor specific form to retain their graceful allure ...

... orange poppy bud ... so cool, i'm thinking ben & jerries should give this name to a tub of ice cream ...

... peony poppin' out ...

... walking onions, which you can eat fresh or pickle up and store on a cellar shelf for a post-apocalyptic treat ...

... a purple iris trying to wake ...

... up early, a popped out poppy ...

... foxglove, a source of digitalis ...

... poppy yawn ...

... clematis Ramona (she's the one who bred it) ... one of my favorite flowers ...

... what a beautiful morning ... thank you, flowers, and, of course, thank you, too, beth ...
