... we went out to the end of the international airport's runway to watch the sunset ... there were several photographers present, and i mentioned aloud what a lovely evening it was ... photo snob with the new 50 megapixel canon said, "light's too flat" ... damn, i guess i must've skipped class when they were giving that lesson ... my childhood home was between the tall buildings (of which there were only two in the late-1950s) and the mountains about halfway to the right edge of the photo ...
