... jon drove up from ohio today ... over almost 900 miles total, his first major league long-distance expedition ... i took route 25 over to vermont to meet up with him, then we negotiated routes 116 and 112, including the kancamagus highway, back to conway and freedom ...
... i stopped so that jon could go down the road aways, then turn around and come back up the hill for a nice shot with the mountains in the background ...
... and, of course, i made sure to take a portrait of the boy with his bike ...
